December is often seen as the month of giving, and all the more reason to be THANKFUL that we are able to give so freely. We all find ourselves in unique situations that help us make decisions in life that ultimately create our personal journey. Life really does go by faster than many of us find believable. This is the perfect time to reflect on what went right for you this year and what have you learned to help guide you into the new year.

This December let’s all honor the spirit of giving! For those in the need of material things, I’d challenge you to reflect on the idea of need. People lacking in a safe place to call home, quality nutritious food or clean well-fitting clothes are whom, in my opinion, we should think of first when it comes to needs.

At Duane’s we committed to supporting Feeding the Fosters this last Thanksgiving and will continue through 2023. This non-profit started with two local sisters making and delivering dinners for the foster families at the Sheriff’s Youth Ranch on Enterprise Rd. It has evolved into much more and highlights the year round need of so many in our area. Financial donations help provide special occasion meals for holidays, birthday cakes for foster children and gift cards for restaurants, ice skating, bowling, movies, zoos, aquariums etc. help provide experiences many of these children would not experience otherwise. We encourage you to find the cause that resonates with you this holiday season for your opportunity to give year round!

When you come by to support Feeding the Fosters, you will find we strive to go above and beyond every day for every customer. Our cozy waiting room has complimentary coffee and bottled water as well as wi-fi and TV equipped with Amazon’s Fire TV. While we always want to accommodate our customers that choose to wait, we also encourage customers to utilize our free shuttle service for the local vicinity or one of our complimentary loaner cars.

As a parting note, we are so invested in your long-term satisfaction with us as a business that we offer a limited warranty for 3 years or 36,000 miles for most repairs. The exceptions are few, but we must keep the lawyers happy with fancy words like limited and most. This exceeds industry standards and extends nationwide.
